Caretaker for Dutchess County Estate

Typical Locations: Rhinebeck, Dutchess County, & The Hudson Valley Projects also available in East Hampton, Long Island & Westchester
Typical Housekeeper Responsibilities:
- Managing the upkeep of the property including grounds, residence, outbuildings, pool, play equipment, etc.
- Conduct regularly scheduled exterior deep cleaning including windows and lighting fixtures
- Perform seasonal maintenance and cleanup
- Detailed organization and maintenance, inside and out: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, A/V equipment, appliances
- Regular checks throughout buildings, especially (but not limited to) during & after heavy rain or snowfall
- Maintain vehicles for readiness including cars, trucks, ATV, and bicycles.
- Maintain ground maintenance equipment, tools and other equipment/machines
- General labor & small carpentry needs
- Additional Property/Grounds/Estate management responsibilities as requested by principals
Typical Housekeeper Requirements:
- 5+ years related work experience on a private estate or facilities management
- Experience and comfort working with tools and small machinery
- Working knowledge of all trades
- Must be a problem solver and resourceful
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility in scheduling/hours as needed
- Physically able to carry 50-100lbs, safely use ladders, kneel and bend for extended times
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Proof of COVID Vaccine
- Legally able to work in the US
